Medical examination Agniveer selection का आखिरी और सबसे कठिन stage है। लाखों candidates CEE और Physical Test clear करते हैं, लेकिन medical में out हो जाते हैं — क्योंकि उन्हें पहले से पता नहीं होता कि exactly किन चीज़ों पर out किया जाता है।

Medical examination 3 से 5 दिनों तक designated Military Hospital या Command Hospital में होती है। Medical board में specialist doctors होते हैं जो candidates को multiple parameters पर evaluate करते हैं।

📌 Agniveer Vayu (IAF) में temporarily unfit candidates 3 working days के अंदर ₹40 fee देकर Appeal Medical Board (AMB) में appeal कर सकते हैं। उसके बाद कोई review नहीं।

Indian Army Agniveer के लिए LASIK surgery acceptable है यदि: (1) Surgery 20 साल की उम्र के बाद हुई हो, (2) Surgery uncomplicated रही हो, और (3) Medical examination से कम से कम 12 months पहले surgery हुई हो।

गीले पाँव से plain floor पर खड़े हों और footprint देखें। अगर पूरा पाँव print आ रहा है (arch नहीं दिख रहा) — तो flat feet की संभावना है। Doctor से confirm करें।
HIV testing mandatory है और positive result automatic disqualification है। Hepatitis B और C screening भी होती है, positive cases में infectivity और liver function carefully evaluate होता है।

Indian Army का tattoo policy 11 May 2015 से लागू है। Government ने declare किया कि tribal communities के सभी सदस्य जो enlist करते हैं, वे पूरे body पर tattoo रख सकते हैं — लेकिन केवल तभी जब वे tribal community से belong करते हों।
General candidates के लिए permanent body tattoo केवल निम्न body parts पर allowed है — जिसके लिए candidate को Self Certification sign करनी होती है:

⚠️ Tattoo Hiding करना = बड़ी गलती: Medical board tattoo check करती है। अगर tattoo छुपाकर गए और later detect हुआ, तो selected होने के बाद भी dismiss हो सकते हैं। Transparent रहें।
