The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has announced one of the state's largest recruitment drives with 24,492 vacancies for various Group C posts.

Education & Skills: Candidates must have passed the 12th Class (Intermediate) from a recognized board. Some posts like LDC also require typing or computer proficiency.
The minimum age is 18 years. Maximum age is 37 for UR Male, 40 for UR Female/BC/EBC, and 42 for SC/ST as of August 1, 2025.
Recruitment includes 10,753 General, 3,407 SC, 4,185 EBC, and 2,427 ST seats across roles like Revenue Staff, Panchayat Secretary, and Clerk.
A nominal application fee of ₹100 is applicable for all candidates, payable online via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
The recruitment features a multi-stage process: Prelims Exam (CBT), followed by Mains, a Skill Test (for specific posts), and Document Verification.
The Prelims consists of 150 objective questions on General Studies, Math, Science, and Mental Ability, carrying a total of 600 marks.
Selected candidates will enjoy a salary range between ₹25,000 to ₹38,000 per month (Level 2/3), plus standard Bihar government allowances.
